The Ape Escape--located in the northeast corner of the Civic Center concourse--is the perfect gathering place for Gorillas fans! Exclusive access to the Ape Escape is granted to Gorillas season ticket holders, beginning 90 minutes before every home game.
In the Ape Escape, fans can enjoy discounted food and 10% off all drinks. Fans can also take part in a "chalk talk" session with Gorillas Head Coach Tom Coolen before every game. Coach will update fans on the latest locker room goings-on, and chat with them about that night's opponent.
Finally, the Ape Escape will feature a luxurious spot for fans to watch the game live on a big-screen television as they take a break from the in-arena excitement. It is also the ideal space for post-game chats with players and coaches after certain contests.

Stomp made his way to Amarillo in early 2002. He will turn seven on October 17th, 2008. After having a local hockey team named after him during October of 2002, Stomp has become a local celebrity. He is mobbed by admirers everywhere he goes--grocery stores...parades...even motorcycle rallies!
